The UBA Banking, Finance and Insurance Law Committee: “Crypto Currency: Legal, Economic and Technological Cocktail”

On 31 August , the Committee on Banking, Finance and Insurance Law together with the Division of the Association of Lawyers of Ukraine in Odesa Oblast organized a seminar on the issue of legal regulation of crypto-currency in the city of Odessa. The event is being held with the assistance of the law club Pravokator Odessa.

Sergey Papernik, Head of Banking and Financial Practice, Head of Finteh LF «Evris», attorney, seat of the   UBA Banking, Financial and Insurance Law Committee.

Anna Titova, lawyer, deputy chairman of the Committee on Banking, Finance and Insurance Law of the UBA.

The meeting discussed issues:

Economic advantages of cryptography over traditional means of calculation
The current situation with the regulation of cryptography and legal precedents in Ukraine.
Experience of other countries.
Possible variants of the regulation of crypto currency at the legislative level and bills on crypto-currency.
